Food and Family

With publishing credits in print and online, I’ve written about musicians, Olympic athletes, food artists and farmers. I currently write the food column Cook On: 1 part chaos, 2 parts calm for the award-winning publication The Paper, recognized by the New York Press Association.

As a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree, with majors in journalism and television and radio. I also earned a Master of Science degree in administration from Central Michigan University, where I researched the sustainability of digital journalism.
