Try to make a wish with a turkey nugget

How many wishes can you make with one wishbone? (Not a synthetic wishbone–but one that you carefully carved around.) This wishbone came from the turkey we roasted in December. We removed the leftovers from the freezer this week to prepare a stock for curried turkey soup. The kids aren’t fussing over the wishbone . . . yet.  It’s still drying.

DIY Sink Upgrade

Sink upgrade: complete.  Everything works.  We’ve found no leaks (yet), and we’re celebrating this kitchen upgrade in DIY fashion – cooking at home this evening.

Not Sunk Yet

With projects around this cookery, the situation occasionally gets worse before it gets better. But we’re not sunk yet. After the fourth trip to the hardware store, we’ve purchased the final parts to finish our upgrade.
