Play . . . Dough

I’ll be taking five away from my desk and at the stove in the cookery today.  But we won’t be eating our creation:  Play Dough.  My little guys love making homemade Play Dough and molding it into fun shapes. Try this easy recipe:

Play Dough

Mix the following ingredients together in a heavy sauce pan:

 1 cup flour

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1/2 cup salt

Add:

1 cup water

1 tablespoon cooking oil

few drops of food coloring

Stir for 3-5 minutes on medium heat.

This Play Dough keeps well in an air-tight container!
