Please don’t pack . . .

the coffee. We’re still making coffee around The Cookery, but that’s the extent of food and beverage preparation. It’s packing time, and nearly everything is boxed up and ready to move. It’s a load of work with the promise of unpacking in the near future. If I’ve learned anything about packing and moving over the years of many moves, it’s all slipped my mind. I’m not sure what I was thinking when I reserved only my pocket cutlery tool to keep the carrots peeled and melon sliced this week.

If anything,  the quick task of clearing the Do Not Pack space will make up for the challenges of scooping the last of the rock solid ice cream with a camping spoon and grilling with a miniature fork.
